First, President Obama's Internal Revenue Service secretly and illegally targeted Tea Party and conservative groups leading up to the 2012 election cycle. Now, they want to do it openly and legally. New proposed IRS regulations (which would be approved by unelected bureaucrats) on 501(c)(4) social welfare groups would prevent them from hosting voter registration drives, distributing any communication mentioning a candidate within 60 days of an election (which would include voter guides), holding non-partisan candidate forums before an election, and more. These regulations would seriously limit the advocacy work of organizations like Family Research Council Action, the Home School Legal Defense Association, and many more. Representative Dave Camp (R-MI04) has introduced legislation to prevent the proposed regulations from taking effect. Tell your Representative to support Rep. Camp's bill, H.R. 3865, using the easy tool on the right!
