Stand Your Ground Hearing in Senate Subcommittee -Postponed

Update: The Hearing was Postponed due to the shooting in DC

This next Tuesday there will be a hearing on the Stand Your Ground Law, the popular state level law that was brought into question during the Zimmerman trial. The Judicial Committee's subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights and Human Rights will be holding the hearing. The hearing is entitled "'Stand Your Ground' Laws: Civil Rights and Public Safety Implications of the Expanded Use of Deadly Force.” Please contact the Senators in this committee and remind them that Stand Your Ground is common sense.
