I was discussing this issue with someone who called themselves a Christian, and I was shocked when she said, "I support religious liberty for an individual, but businesses are not people, so they cannot have the choice in Health Insurance." There are two issues with this statement. First businesses are owned by an individual who have religious liberty. Businesses are property and the business owners have the right to run their companies in accordance with their convictions. Secondly, legally businesses are considered people. Companies being owned by individuals who are protected under the 1st Amendment should have the right to follow their conscience.
